The Burner Tribe is a notorious gang of bounty hunters. They tend to be in the port of planet Galang-22.

The Burner Tribe are mentioned by Nightfall in "The Happy Place" along with other bounty hunters as a possible identity of who was kidnapping the Crimson Light.
In "The Lost Spy", Little Cato tries to join them after leaving the Crimson Light. Despite not believing him capable of being one of them, the leader sends him to hunt Gary Goodspeed, who is revealed to currently have the largest price on his head. He also warns Little Cato that once he joins their ranks, it will be for life.
At the same time, Gary, Nightfall, Mooncake and KVN are in a bar, where one of the patrons tells them Little Cato is most likely with the Burner Tribe, since all people who have no place left to go hook up with them. He directs them to the port, where they find Little Cato and the tribe. When he sees Gary, the leader admits that he was sending Little Cato on a suicide mission, and is impressed the boy actually found Gary. A gunfight breaks out between the Tribe and the Team Squad. However, after hearing Gary give Little Cato a heart to heart about his situation, and offering to adopt the boy, the moved leader allows him to leave with Gary.

In "The Lost Spy", the tribe has five members, including it's leader. They're all from different, unnamed species.
- The leader; a tall, humanoid alien with greying skin, a single red eye and disproportionally large ears.
- A smaller, humanoid alien with greying skin and red hair.
- A bird-like creature with a mohawk and wearing goggles.
- A pink-skinned humanoid alien with a facemask and a horn.
- A gold-skinned humanoid. This character however is not with the group during the fight at the port.
