Commander Ergon is a minor character in Final Space. She was a commander of the Infinity Guard, and the mother of Quinn and Avery Ergon.
Biography[]
Almost nothing is known about Commander Ergon's life or how she became an Infinity Guard commander. At some point, she had two daughters with an unknown man.
At one point in Quinn and Avery's childhood, Avery nearly drowned while attempting to catch a beacon, with Quinn just barely saving her. Commander Ergon confronted Quinn in a medical center and locked her in a morgue full of the bodies of fallen soldiers in order to teach her how commanders like her are affected by the deaths of their soldiers. She told Quinn that she would have to bear the same kind of pain one day, as well as reminding her that she's responsible for Avery, even though the whole incident had been Avery's fault and Quinn attempted to stop her.
The whereabouts of Commander Ergon in the present day is unknown.
Personality[]
Commander Ergon seemed to be strict and cold towards her daughters, who both respected and feared her, especially Quinn. Commander Ergon behaved more like a mentor than a mother when it came to her family and went overboard with punishments when it came to dealing with her eldest daughter since she had no qualms on locking up Quinn, who was still a young child, in a room full of corpses as she expected Quinn to take her place as future Commander and, being the eldest child, she believed Quinn had to always take care of Avery despite the fact that it was her youngest who constantly put herself in danger to one up her sister.
