Hives, swarming
The Hives or Hive ships are an army of small robots used by the Lord Commander.
The Hives can fly through space in formations that resemble swarming bees. Each Hive is armed with a laser, and can use it's three legs to stab opponents or tear open objects.
The Lord Commander kept them on board his personal ship, and in "Chapter 10" unleashed them against the Galaxy One after the rest of his armada was obliterated. The Hives took out KVN and injured Gary before Lord Commander called them back. They are not seen again afterwards.
