The Key Guardian[1] is a character seen in the Season 2 episode "The Descent Into Darkness". He is a member of the Beforians, the species native to the planet Rugaro.

He looks like all other Beforians, with one notable difference; where other Beforians have only a single antenna on top of their heads, the Key Guardian has 5.
Background[]
When first seen, the Key Guardian is leading a ritual where he and his people plan to send the Dimensional Key they had been tasked to guard into the cosmos, since their planet is about to be sucked into the Dark Zone. However, the ritual is interrupted by Sheryl Goodspeed, who kills the guardian by blowing his head off with a gun. His body then disintegrates.
