The Galaxy One uses its Lightfold Engine
A Lightfold Engine is a type of engine that allows spaceships to lightfold, and thus travel faster than the speed of light, and thus go from one part of the galaxy to another in a matter of minutes.
Nearly all spaceships in the series come equiped with one, including the Galaxy One and the F71 Hawk. Even the escape pods on a Infinity Guard Imperium Cruiser have them.

The Lightfold Engine involves having the Drive "bend" the light it emits at a speed so fast, it literally bends the gravity and space it occupied, immediately propelling the ship to its destination. This is accompanied by a colorful spinning vortex of light every time the ship "lightfolds".
It is noted that the "light" in the Lightfold Drives can vaporizes anything it touches at full charge. This is seen in "Chapter 1", when the ships of the Ventrexian Bounty Hunters attacking the Galaxy One are vaporized when they fail to take off before the Galaxy One lightfolds.
If needed, a Lightfold Engine can be weaponized by detaching it from the ship and detonating it. H.U.E. did this in "Chapter 10" to wreck the Lord Commander's fleet of Heavy Incinerators.
