In "The Lost Spy", while the Team Squad is on Galang-22 to look for Little Cato, they encounter this unnamed alien in a bar.
He gives them information in return for Gary Goodspeed agreeing to repeatedly stab him with a knife, which despite the pain he somehow seems to enjoy experiencing.
Appearance[]
The alien is a member of the humanoid cephalopod aliens that are the dominant species of Galang-22. He has a grey skin, and four eyes, one of which is white instead of black (the normal eye color for his species). He also has two scars over this eye, suggesting it's been blinded.
He seems to have a high resistance to blood loss, considering he was bleeding severely for several minutes before passing out and dying.
Background[]
Gary, Nightfall, KVN, and Mooncake encounter the alien in a shady bar on Galang-22 while looking for Little Cato, who had run away from the Crimson Light. He calls the group towards him, and tells them he knows where Little Cato is. But for this information, he wants Gary to take his knife and stab him in the hand. Gary objects, but eventually agrees.
In a later scene, Gary has evidently stabbed the guy several more times, since he is bleeding all over his body. Despite the severe blood loss, he remains calm and wants Gary to stab his neck next, despite Gary's objections that this will kill him. When Gary, at Nightfall's request, finally agrees, he ends up killing the guy. With his dying breath he told the team they could find Little Cato with the Burner Tribe in the port.
