Thimbles, nicknamed "The game of kings", is a teamsport practiced on multiple planets. On Serepentis, it is used to settle conflicts.
The game is first seen in "The Grand Surrender", when Ash Graven suggests Gary Goodspeed and Clarence settle an argument this way. It is a rather violent game.
Gameplay[]
Thimbles is played by two teams of two to four players. All players wear a visor over one eye, and are armed with a bat called a smasher. These smashers are used to knock a projectile called a thimble across the playing field.
Use of weapons, like a gun, is allowed, as demonstrated by Nightfall.
Points, also called Thimbles, can mainly be scored by:
- Hitting of thimbles across the playing field through the other players' smashing window.
- Severing limbs from opposing players. Each limb is worth 4 thimbles, and the responsible player gets to keep the severed limb. However, if the other player fails to clear their limb in a timely manner, they lose four points, in addition to losing a limb.
The game is won by the first team that reaches 54 thimbles.
Trivia[]
