Todd H. Watson, also known by his alias of Hushfluffles, is the secondary antagonist of the adult animated series Final Space, serving as one of the two central antagonists (alongside Sheryl Goodspeed) of Season 2 and a minor antagonist in Season 3.
History[]
Background[]
Todd is from Earth. He is married to a woman named Holly, and they have a son named Jed. At some point prior to the events of Season 2, Todd became the leader of The Happy Place, a power plant-type ship ran by the Fluffles, a surprisingly dark alien race.
Todd lost his wife and son when the Lord Commander managed to open a breach to Final Space, and a Titan used this breach to pull the entire Earth into Final Space, along with Todd's family. Todd intercepted the final message from Quinn Ergon to Gary Goodspeed, in which she told him that they lost the Earth be she could still save Gary. Based on this message, he concluded Gary was to blame for the loss of the Earth and his family, and swore revenge.
Season 2[]
In "The Happy Place", he managed to capture the Crimson Light and its crew and tricked Gary entering one of the energy-draining pods of the Happy Place, which would slowly kill him. In his personal Happy Place, Gary lived a dream in which he had a family of his own. At the end of the dream, Todd killed this family to make Gary feel the same pain that he felt. Mooncake freed Gary from the dream, after which Todd revealed his true identity and the reason for his vendetta towards Gary. He tried to kill Gary and his friends, but they escaped.
In "The Lost Spy", Todd captures Sheryl Goodspeed (or rather, she allowed herself to get captured to find out who kept sending bounty hunters after her), and after looking inside her memories to find out where Gary is, he ends up discovering that she also hates him, so the two joined forces to kill him and get the Dimensional Keys.
In "The Descent Into Darkness", Todd and Sheryl travel to Rugaro in search of the last Dimensional Key. Sheryl leaves the other four in Todd's ship to be used as bait to attract Gary, so that Todd can capture and kill him. However, Todd's ship is invaded by Little Cato, Ash Graven, and the Resistance, led by Tribore, who confronts Todd and engages him in a fight in which Tribore kicks the ever living crap out of Todd, and throws him into one of his pods, and ejects it into deep space.
Season 3[]
In "Hyper-Transdimensional Bridge Rising", Ash sends a message to Clarence about turning on the bridge to Final Space in Kalden 1, which Todd sees. Todd arrives at the bridge before Clarence does and holds him at gun point. Suddenly, many of Clarence’s enemies arrive, and a battle breaks out. Soon, Todd and Clarence are the only ones left alive, and Todd shoots Clarence several times before he can activate the bride. Before Todd can finish Clarence off, he is stabbed through the chest by the Mega-KVN, mortally wounding him. Clarence pleads Todd to stop what he is doing, saying that his deceased family would be ashamed of what he has become. Clarence's words seemingly affect Todd, but when Clarence turns his back, Todd shoots him fatally. Still stuck in his hatred, Todd tells Clarence that his mission is to kill Gary, and finally bleeds out, thinking his mission is complete.

Todd appears to be human like Gary and Quinn. He has white skin, sharp teeth and brown, disheveled hair.
Hushfluffles[]
Hushfluffles
As to not give away the true horrid nature of the Happy Place, Todd dresses up as Hushfluffles, the supposed leader of the Fluffles. Hushfluffles is a red Fluffle; he has the same large, bulging eyes and body shape as the rest of them; the same furry body; he has a star shape over his head and around his neck; and, of course, the distinct permanent grin.
